After three previous drafts, I believe this to be my final one. Although I am not opposed to making adjustments, I am very pleased with how it stands and with the work I have put into it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Here's my third draft of the video mashup. I have added many more connotative images and split many of my longer clips up and placed them alongside of newfound ones. I am pleased with its progress. A more in-depth analysis of my process can be found on my mashup page. Please let me know anyways to perfect it!
I am now in the second draft phase of my video mashup. The video has doubled in time, and is now about four minutes long. I still need to perfect the transitions and background music. I also plan to add more justaposing images and the credits at the very end. For more infomation on my drafting process, you can also visit my video mashup page.
This is the first draft of my video mashup, it is about 2 minutes and 15 seconds long. I plan to add more juxtaposed images to this introductory part of my mashup as well as background music. This is also only about the first half of the videos and images that I plan to use. I'm still working on ways to improve it, and am very open to suggestions! Please let me know what you think about it thus far.
My storyboard has 26 different screen shots of video clips and images that I plan to use in the order that they are presented for my video mashup. I have collected the videos from YouTube and the images from Google and ordered them in a way that makes a chronological, cohesive narrative. For each screen shot, I have also explained how each of the five codes apply.
As my next step, I plan to use these short video clips and images from my storyboard to make a video mashup. I will be using Windows Moviemaker to rip the YouTube videos and put them in the order that my storyboard describes. I will also be adding music, such as Whitney Houston's "I'm Every Woman" to my mashup to make it more appealing. First thing's first--what exactly is a video mashup? Essentially, mashups combine different videos to make one (ideally) coherent narrative. Images, videos, text, and music are used in one overarching video to create a unified argument or idea. My proposal is about the changing roles of women in America from housewives to working moms and the extreme stress that has been put on these women as an outcome in trying to balance home and work life. I'm looking for some input from other class members as to how to best combine these elements into my video mashup, and if there are any recommendations for other sources that I could use to make it as impacting as possible.
